PSIA

A few weeks ago, we went to Fort Worth for the PSIA's state meet. Just like last year, we decided a trip to the DFW area wasn't complete without a stop at Great Wolf Lodge!

We spent two days before the competition at Great Wolf, and we had an absolute blast! We went with another family that was also headed up for PSIA, and the kids were thrilled to have the run of the water park with their friends! Since we were there during the week, the park was almost empty. We could go the rides as many times as we wanted and were only limited by the amount of times we could walk up alllllll those stairs to get to the water chutes!

After we were sufficiently water-logged and exhausted, we said goodbye to Bill and the boys (who had to head home for weekend baseball games) and hopped in the car with our friends to move to a hotel close to the TCU campus where the competition was to be held. There, we spent some time hanging out with a third family of friends.

In the morning, we woke up bright and early to get to campus with lots of time to spare. Avery spent her free time reviewing her music memory materials.


When all was said and done, Avery won a 2nd place medal! We're so proud of her hard work!
