Winter Basketball

Last weekend the boys wrapped up their basketball season.  Both boys had the same coaches (the coaches both had two kids playing basketball too), and they were great.  They were very positive and the boys learned a lot. 

This was Rhys's second season of basketball, and he is a natural defensive player. He was relentless about stealing the ball from the other team!

But he could also hold his own when playing offense.

Rhys's team ended the season undefeated (with the exception of the one game they played against a Division 1 team), and they won the league championship.

This was Griffin's first season of basketball, and he really enjoyed himself too.  He was always very excited to play in games, although he had a bit of a short attention span.  He started out strong, but after a couple of minutes, he could be found wandering around the opposite end of the court from wherever the action was.
